8August 20th , Mr. Klas Forsström, BU President of Mechanical Processing of SANDVIK Group, and Mr. Zhang Zhiqiang, Senior Vice President and President of Asia Pacific Region of the Group, came and visited Jinzhou. This is SANDVIK Group’s second visit to Jinzhou since May this year.

SANDVIK is a global High-tech Engineering Group with a full-year revenue of approximately 100 billion SEK (about 80 billion RMB). There are three major core businesses: Technology of Mining and Rock, Mechanical Processing and Special Materials, of which the Mechanical Processing Division has three leading global cutting tools brands, including Coromant, Walter and SECO, with revenues of 41 billion SEK in 2017. The unique attainments of material technology, deep insight into industry and customer manufacturing technology, close collaboration with customers and constant investment in R & D have created SANDVIK as a global industry leader in these three areas.

During the visit, Mr. Klas Forsström and Mr. Zhang Zhiqiang focused on the production line and gained deeper understanding of the development of Jinzhou. Mr. Klas Forsström highly praised the efficient operation of the Jinzhou manufacturing system and its continued improvement in the quality. And praised Jinzhou as a start-up enterprise, full of energy. At the same time, both sides discussed the current situation and development of cutting tool industry.
